Summary:  
Seeking an experienced Press Brake Mechanic to set up, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain press brake machinery used in metal fabrication. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, experience reading blueprints, and the ability to ensure precision and quality in fabricated metal components.
 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:  
  • Set up and operate press brake machines according to job specifications.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on machinery
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
  • 2 years’ experience setting up OR operating forming press brakes. 
  • Previous experience operating or repairing press brake machines preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and quality
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
Environmental Conditions: 
Work is performed in a metal fabrication shop with exposure to heat, sparks, fumes, and loud noise; requires standing for long periods, wearing protective gear, and following strict safety protocols.
 
Physical Capabilities:
 
Requires standing for long periods, lifting and moving metal parts, using hands and arms for welding and grinding, and bending, reaching, or crouching as needed to complete fabrication tasks safely.
