Solderer / Assembler
Temp-Perm
1st SHIFT (7:30am-3:30pm) Monday through Friday, OT available Saturday (7:00am-12:00pm)
SUMMARY:
We are seeking a highly talented and motivated Soldering Technician / Assembler who will report directly to the Manufacturing Manager. The company will provide in-house employee training for all new hires. Employee development opportunities include certifications in IPC/JSTD/etc.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Locate and place parts in kit.
- Solder and assemble printed circuit boards according to customer print.
- Inspect and touch up boards as required.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum 1 year manufacturing (required). Minimum 1 year soldering (required). Through-hole soldering experience a plus.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Experience in soldering and assembly.
- Able to work independently.
- Ability to read drawings from prints.
- Commitment to high quality standards.
- High degree of reliability.
Environmental Conditions:
The majority of the time would be spent in the facility areas will be moderate temperatures. However, there will be times where temperatures will get hot and times where the temperatures will be cold depending on the time of year.
Physical Capabilities:
Frequently required to stand or sit for long periods of time, walk, stretching, twisting, and lifting. Required to perform daily tasks requiring repetitive motion. Able to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds.
