Job Description
Shipping Associate (Lawrence Distribution)
Temp to perm
1st Shift 7:30am-4:00pm Monday-Friday
SUMMARY:
This Position has overall responsibility of working in Shipping Department
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Repeatedly moving 30-40lbs boxes all day
- Loading and unloading trucks
- Move inventory as needed
- Pack boxes as needed
- Pulling materials
- Prepare orders for shipment
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Able to lift 30-40lbs
- Able to push/pull cartons/carts up to 75 lbs
- Able to stand and/or walk on concrete for 8 hours a day
- Proven track record of stability and dependability in the workplace
- Able to operate forklift equipment is a plus
- Able to read/write in English
- Ability to speak English
- High School diploma
