Quality Assurance Inspector
Temp-Perm
1st SHIFT (7:30am-3:30pm) Monday through Friday, OT available Saturday (7:00am-12:00pm)
SUMMARY:
We are seeking a highly talented and motivated QA Inspector who will report directly to the Quality Manager. Performs incoming, in-process and final electronic and mechanical assembly inspections using various electronic documentation illustrating assembly process and lay-out depicting type of components, component locations, component values, component markings, and component orientation. Enters data and completes necessary documentation as required. Works with others in a respectful and team aspiring manner.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Verifies product compliance to all requirements and specifications for electronic and mechanical sub-assemblies and final assemblies for delivery to our customers.
- Reviews and interprets standards, specifications, drawings, routings, and various visual aids.
- Completes necessary documentation as required.
- Coordinates rework and repair of conforming material.
- Enters and maintains data into computer systems and databases.
- Forwards accepted product to packing with required documentation.
- Follows procedures and works in a safe and efficient manner.
- Works well with others.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum 1 year manufacturing or production environment (required). Quality Assurance Electronics experience preferred.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Experience with Electronic Assemblies and/or Printed Circuit Boards.
- Familiar with IPC-A-610 and/or J-STD-001.
- Experience with ISO standards.
- Able to work independently.
- Ability to read drawings from prints.
- Commitment to high quality standards.
- High degree of reliability.
Environmental Conditions:
The majority of the time would be spent in the facility areas will be moderate temperatures. However, there will be times where temperatures will get hot and times where the temperatures will be cold depending on the time of year.
Physical Capabilities:
Frequently required to stand or sit for long periods of time, walk, stretching, twisting, and lifting. Required to perform daily tasks requiring repetitive motion. Able to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds.
