Title: QC/Inspector
Type of Placement: Temp/Perm
Shift: Hours 7:00am-3:30pm Monday thru Friday
Pay/Pay Range: $15.50 per hour then $16.00 at 90 days if performance/attendance have been satisfactory at host employer’s discretion.

Summary: This position will be responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of our products and raw materials through the application of incoming, first piece, in-process, and final inspection.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Stages jobs.
- Tags all new samples with correct SKU.
- Catches garments as they come down the dryer.
- Performs quality control by checking each garment against the sample.
- Put garments on carts or in packages as required by work orders.
- Prepares and completes work order travelers for each job.
- Ensures packaging is properly labeled, signed off, and placed on pallet.
- Helps remove and clean screens and scrapers from press and then puts them in proper places.
- Keeps the work area clean and free from unsafe materials.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience. Computer experience a must.

- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
