Line Leader – Production

Position Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow the daily production schedule to ensure consistent, high-quality output.
• Monitor and adjust equipment to ensure product specifications are met.
• Document key production 
• Ensure team members have necessary tools and training.
• Act as a backup production worker when needed.
• Report issues and updates to the supervisor promptly.
• Train staff on quality, safety, GMPs, and allergen protocols.

Competencies:

• Basic understanding of ingredients, formulations, and equipment operation.
• Ability to evaluate product quality and make necessary adjustments.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and production standards.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in commercial baking preferred.
• Familiarity with Mixer, Machine Operator.
• Basic English literacy and math skills.
• Some supervisory experience is a plus.

Supervisory Duties:

Regulatory Responsibilities:

• Participate in safety initiatives and inspections.
• Ensure compliance with GMP and food safety standards.

Physical Demands:

• Frequent lifting (up to 40 lbs), bending, standing, walking, and pushing heavy equipment.
• Work in varying temperatures (hot and cold environments).

Work Environment:

• Exposure to loud noise and temperature extremes.
