Embroidery Operator/Trimmer
Temp-Perm
7:00am-5:30pm Monday thru Thursday, or
7:00am-3:30pm Monday thru Friday
SUMMARY:
As the Embroidery Operator/Trimmer, you’ll have an important role on our team, helping us to ensure our client’s products are properly made.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Set-up and operate embroidery machines in accordance with customer/vendor specifications and quality procedures, as well as perform machine maintenance to include by not limited to: oiling, proper threading, and cleaning machines.
- Prepares materials to be used for each job by obtaining raw stock in accordance with the job order, verbal/written instruction, hopping required garments, etc.
- Operating multi head embroidery machine to produce products in accordance with production needs.
- Prepares finished product for shipping by cleaning and trimming all product, completing proper paperwork, verifying product counts, packaging, and labeling boxes.
- Verifies all paperwork is accurate and complete.
- Reports problems or discrepancies to management immediately.
- Adheres to established policies and procedures paying special attention to safety regulations.
- Maintains work areas in a clean, orderly, and safe manner.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Computer experience is a must.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Oral and written communication skills.
- Reading skills.
- Telephone etiquette.
- Professionalism & organized.
- Good time management.
- Computer literacy with good keyboard skills.
- High attention to detail.
Environmental Conditions:
Work environment is fast paced and fast moving. The majority of the time would be spent in a warehouse setting with warm or cold temperatures depending on the time of the year.
Physical Capabilities:
Frequently required to stand for long periods of time, walk, stretching, pulling, pushing, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00
