Job Description
Job Title:
Commercial Insurance Producer
Summary: Meet with potential commercial insurance prospects to determine what risk exposures potentially need insurance coverage and what coverage is appropriate.
Location: Bedford, NH (Not Remote)
Pay: $40,000.00 base plus commission. If a book of business is brought, commission will be paid on the book they bring in.
Job Duties:
- Maintain and grow a solid book of business
- Sell and grow new business through a variety of sales techniques and venues
- Stay ahead of and current with trends in the commercial insurance industry
- Identify gaps in coverage/Risk Management Assessment
- Visit Customers as needed
- Consult and advise on potential needs and best practices
- Achieve assigned sales goals and metrics
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Must have NH property and casualty license
- Must be able pipeline, pitch and close sales
- Must have experience handling a large book of business (will train someone from another industry if they have handled a large book of business/closings)
- Will be required to work on the road and in the office
- Required to meet all sales goals and metrics
- Be able to work independently
- Must possess excellent customer service and care skills
- Candidate should be willing to pitch in to assist other duties
