Outbound Associate
Temp-Perm
1st SHIFT (7:00am-3:30pm) Monday through Friday
*Extra hour of pay starting at 6:00am & Saturday (6:00am-3:30pm) during busy season*
SUMMARY:
The Outbound Associate is responsible for performing duties on and off the shipping line related to the stocking, picking, packing, confirmation, labeling, and processing of orders.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Learn and perform all duties on the shipping floor as directed, to include wholesale, freight, retail, and company store orders.
- Pick and confirm orders efficiently and accurately.
- Pack orders efficiently and correctly to prevent damage.
- Ticket or label orders as specified.
- Perform gift wrapping for retail orders as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness of work area throughout the shift and at the end of the shift.
- Report any conditions that need attention to the appropriate manager.
- Follow all company policies and procedures with regards to safety, including food safety, quality, sanitation, personnel, maintenance, and equipment.
- Assist with inventory spot checks and distribution activities as needed.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Strict adherence to quality standards.
- Computer literate (Microsoft Windows preferred).
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- Reliable attendance.
- Demonstrated attention to detail.
Environmental Conditions:
The majority of the time would be spent in the facility areas will be moderate temperatures.
Physical Capabilities:
Frequently required to stand for long periods of time, walk, stretching, twisting, bending, handling equipment and lift items up to 50 pounds.
Pay: $18.00
